[Industry researchThe_Communication_Protocol_for_WSN_about_LEACH_20

Description: Abstract This paper talk about the communication protocol named LEACH. The protocol focuses on reducing the power consumption of wireless sensor networks, which can have significant impact on the overall energy dissipation of these networks. LEACH uses localized coordination to enable scalability and obustness for dynamic networks, and incorporate data fusion into the routing protocol to reduce the amount of information that must be transmitted to the base station. Simulations show that LEACH can achieve as much as a factor of 8 reductions in energy dissipation compared with conventional routing protocols. In addition, LEACH is able to distribute energy dissipation evenly throughout the sensors, doubling the useful system lifetime for the networks we simulated.

[3G develops02-5

Description: Power consumption is an important design criterion in the design of wireless sensor networks. Hybrid radio frequency/free space optical wireless sensor networks (RF/FSO WSN) have been proposed to reduce the energy consumption of traditional RF-based sensor networks. This paper compares the performance of such a hybrid sensor network against the wellknown RF-based low energy adapting clustering hierarchy (LEACH) WSN proposed in the literature. Network performance is studied in terms of network lifetime and average network area coverage. Simulations show that despite not employing data aggregation, the RF/FSO WSN has a longer lifetime and larger average network coverage when compared to the LEACH WSN

[Program docAn-Efficient-Tree-based-Power-Saving-Scheme-for-W

Description: Wireless sensor networks with mobile sink are ex-pected to increase the flexibility for gathering information in large-scale sensing and detecting environments. Energy saving becomes one of the most important features of the sensor nodes to extend their lifetime in such networks. A novel tree-based power saving scheme is proposed in this paper to reduce the energy consumption in wireless sensor networks with mobile sink. We adopt a dynamic sorting algorithm to create a tree-cluster routing structure for the sensor nodes. The main goal of this scheme is to reduce the data transmission distances of the sensor nodes by employing the tree structure and multi-hop concepts. Based on the location of mobile sink, the distances between the sensor nodes, and the residual energy of each sensor node, the proposed scheme makes an efficient decision for creating the routing structure. The energy consumption is reduced and the lifetime is extended for the sensor nodes by balancing the network load.

[OtherTransmission Power Optimisation Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks

Description: that monitor certain conditions in different locations and transfer data through a network to an endpoint called base station. Because WSN nodes are often deployed outdoors where a direct power outlet may not be available, energy efficiency becomes a key factor in the design of WSNs. This work proposes an antenna transmission power optimisation algorithm (TPOA) which dynamically adjusts the power level of the transmission according to the last received signal strength indicator (RSSI). The mechanism was implemented and tested on an XbeeWSNthat uses a modifiedMixed Hop and signalReceived routing for mobile Wireless Sensor Networks (MHRWSN) protocol. The energy consumption results have shown that the proposed system can save as much as 76% of power in Tx operations while maintaining a packet reception rate of above 85%
